Indiana Dunes State and National Parks - Hiking and Exploring
Time & Location
About the event
What a wonderful place to spend the day. The Indiana Dunes Visitor Center is about an hour and half drive from your home. From there the state park is a few minutes drive and the national park surrounds the state park. Lots of hiking and exploring. Trails for every level of fitness. Bring your breakfast, bring your lunch, you can even bring your bike. We will start the day in the state park and checkout a trail or two. Trail #10 looks like a good option, but it's your day, you decide your trail.

The national park has a lakeshore drive, a bike trail, a learning center, an old homestead, and of course dunes.

Cost for roundtrip transportation and park entrance fee is only $50 each. There is a four guest minimum for this event. We will bring a cooler, ice and water, and your welcome to put your lunch inside. If you want to bring your bike, please let us know in advance so we bring a rack.
We will pick up guests at 6:15 am at Braeside Station and 6:30 am at Winnetka Station (Elm / Lincoln). We should arrive at the visitor center around 8 am and spend at least 8 hours touring. We will happily drive you around to multiple locations throughout the park.
